I have the need for a simple, light-weight, solution for allowing an/several NPC(s) to take vehicles from point A to point B or C, but also be able to traverse back or another waypoint later on (depending on external factors - read: what the player does).
My problem is that there some very basic, possibly one-way waypoint solutions (racing game-focused), or some extremely big city-scaled traffic solutions.
I need a solution more in the size of:
- There is 3 villages, a few houses per village, an NPC that is walking around may decide to take a car to any neighbour in same or different village, and should get there without too much trouble by following the basic gravel road. - The player camera will be some 200 meters up, the exact angle of the vehicles wheels is not important, nor is IK of the driver needed.
I have just spent 4 hours looking at assets in the Unity Store and cannot find which one would would be fitting - either because the descriptions and videos are aiming for a different style of content or because the descriptions, images and video's are short in details about what the asset truly contains.
Budget is *not* the issue, finding something that *fits* is.
Any suggestions and help is welcome.
Edit: why is the resulting formatting of the post so completely off from how it was written?
